P.S. known as ‘Post Script’, is an awesome, super effective FFMI to end your cover letter in style.
It is a widely used tool in marketing. People almost always read the ‘P.S.’, even if they didn’t read the rest of the content. You read the P.S. in the first chapter didn’t you?
Sometimes the reader might be too busy to read the whole thing and might skim through the email, but P.S. will stop him in his tracks and force him to pay attention. This happens because you rarely come across it, especially in emails and it has intriguing element to it that makes you curious to find out what the message is.
Use it wisely to make an instant impression and boost your chances of getting an interview call!
I have listed some of the P.S. you can use in the cover letter. Pick what suits you or experiment with them and try them out with different applications and emails!
Maintain cover letters for job portals and emails too when you manually apply for jobs, and also when you apply or upload your resume individually on company websites.
There is no excuse to not apply for jobs without Cover Letters. Always use them!
