Words at Play
Using the right words in your conversation can be very potent in making a mark. Fiction writers put in a lot of effort to use the right words to trigger your emotions.
I encourage you to use powerful words as well. But make sure you use it in the right context, it should not come off as out of place or seem forced!
You can use sentences and words like, “I love programming…”
“I would love to work on that…” “I am fascinated by computers…”
“I am fascinated by the psychology behind marketing and how well it seems to work. Are we really this predictable? “
“I am curious by nature. While growing up I use to rip off my toys to see how they work. I once destroyed my new toy to play with the motor!”
“It is exciting to create something out of nothing at a very low cost in many cases. That is what I love about programming. And that is why I want to pursue my career in software development.”
“Many may find book-keeping mind numbing but I actually enjoy working with numbers. I also enjoy studying financial statements to see if anything is amiss or how companies handle reporting losses and profits. I feel like Sherlock trying to find out any fudging of the numbers. “
“I am looking forward to working on this project/job.”
“I am looking forward to working with your team/with you.”
“I love building beautiful WebPages/websites. Most of the Indian sites I see are downright hideous. I want to change that and that is why I chose to become a front-end developer/web designer/graphic designer.”
“I really enjoyed working on the projects in college. That is when I decided to specialize in…”
