  1. Profile   Name:   Make   sure   you   have   a   descriptive   name   to distinguish this profile from the others you will be creating. Add the TJT as your profile name for easy recognition. In my case I named it not surprisingly as ‘.NET Developer’
  • Key Skills: This is very important as mentioned earlier. Add all the skills relevant to the job you are targeting. But make sure you actually have those skills, even if it is basic-intermediate knowledge that should be ok. Don’t add skills you know nothing about.
  • Resume Headline: This is important too! Make sure this is again your TJT. This field can possibly help your resume rank better than other resumes, as the headline will contain the job title the recruiter is looking for. Don’t add some unhelpful or shortened version. Make sure it is easily readable. By clicking on ‘View Example’ (#4 in the image) you can see how your profile looks while the recruiter searches for viable candidates. Naukri has even added the message ‘Your Resume Headline is the first thing Recruiters will see.’! See the figure 4 below.
